On a day to day basis, I use Pointcast and in the companies listing I include AXNT, CHKPF, CYBG, CYLK, NETA, SCUR, SDTI. Some other companies to watch might be Verisign and Entrust. Entrust is a spin out from NorTel and not publicly traded ... yet).

I've provided below some selected links that should provide plenty of reading material.

A good hot links location is provided by ICSA (formerly NCSA):
ncsa.com You can also go to the ICSA home page
ncsa.com .. you should find some interesting reading at:
westcoast.com
cosc.georgetown.edu

From an attack perspective....

sophist.demon.co.uk
ntsecurity.com
and my favorite...
rootshell.com (play around here for awhile .... it should scare the hell out of you)

For your own protection and information:
ciac.llnl.gov (Make a point of clicking on hoaxes)

Crypto-politics is an international issue:
cwis.kub.nl
modeemi.cs.tut.fi

If you haven't had enough yet :-)
geocities.com
nsi.org

Best Regards and Happy Reading,
Jim

Karun,

Here's a couple of more that popped up this AM.

washingtonpost.com
pub.whitehouse.gov

I thought of another company to keep an eye on: ISSX ( iss.net ), there is a thread on SI that seemed to die at the end of April; if you look at the chart you'll probably understand why. I'm not suggesting a buy in the company, but I wouldn't be surprised to see an acquisition of them some time down the road.

Best Regards,
Jim
