I obviously don't understand your sense of humor.
I find nothing funny about the people who were killed/wounded in Vietnam.
You were not simply responding to my post about psychedelic.
Let's be honest, "dear".
Nowhere in that post did I reference Vietnam.
My post about psychedelic was in reference to your "cutesy" post about the drinkers thread.
You thought I would be embarrassed about that thread.
I am not, and in fact, I am proud to participate on it.
At least there we don't have any psuedo intellectuals.
You went into my profile, saw that I was a Vietnam Veteran, (and BTW I am Proud of that, I am sure to your dismay) thought you would try to "bait" me, but failed.
(I have no desire to engage in any discussion with you about Vietnam)
I see where your "head" is, and I feel sorry for you. (Here's some TP)

Touch a nerve???
I don't mind saying that you did.
I don't like, nor have any use for people that are happy that people died in Vietnam.

I wonder if the families of the people who were killed/wounded there would be laughing along with you?

Please don't bother responding to me; I assure you I will no longer respond to you.

Christine:

You were so wrong, baby, in your reply to "anyone". Jane Fonda was not a patriot, but a traitor. We should have been in Vietnam, but our men and women should have allowed us to win it. And many men returning from Vietnam were met with cries of "baby-killer!" or worse. The anti-war crowd should have turned its attention on getting rid of Johnson and his puppet VP, the Humpty-Dumpty man. The Great Society programs should have been trashed. Johnson was a vile, low-class idiot who thought our men in Vietnam were toy soldiers and wrestled the management of the military conflict away from the Generals and into his own incompetent hands.

The peace marchers were mostly dupes of the communists. Although the draft was morally wrong and a truly free country has no right to conscript anyone for any type of service.
