And its almost impossible to gauge when these deals are going to go through, because if one trading partner doesn't want to come into the domain, well thats it - the whole thing might be postponed (hardly ever lost).

I2 has done a better job managing expectations but they know the discrete mfg space, Manu doesn't that was the problem. My guess is late this yr Manu will have a huge blowout qtr where every one of these contracts will get signed - then what will they do?

In any case, its only peripherally related to the Manu/Promira merger and has no relevance to Siebel/Scopus.
