I think you are a FOOL.
I did not say NSCP did not innovate. What I was saying is that NSCP should compete with better products , with innovation, so that consumers will not turn down its products. Do you understand? FOOL .
I bet you probably did not even know what is "INNOVATION" all about.Innovation means new ideas, new improvement to make things better, it can be new technology, or marketing strategy ...etc. To say Microsoft did not innovate or did know how to innoiate is probably a very emotional statement without solid
understanding what is innovation all about.
I think NSCP did not invent "C" or "C++" programming language, but it used it to
develop or improve products, so can you say NSP did not innovate or did not
know how to innovate ? I do not think so. The same to Microsoft, it probably did
not invent the browser, but based on that Microsoft had brought a lot new ideas, and
new applications, do you think it is innovation ? or what ?

I am sorry for your holding of NSCP stocks, and it must has lost a lot of values, so
I can understand why you are so angry. But , who to blame ? NSCP !!!! NSCP is
a loser in the war between NSCP and MSFT, and there is always winner and loser, otherwise we will not call it a war. Who to blame? NSCP itself. Microsoft should not be responsible for NSCP's failure. Today, if MSFT is the loser, I do not think people
should blame NSCP for MSFT's loss of the war. A mature company should be responsible for its own failures !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dragonfly,

I laugh out loud whenever I hear the word "innovation" and Microsoft uttered in the same sentence. It's even funnier when Bill says it.

Without going into the question of MSFT innovation, your statement about Netscape 'inventing' the browser is ridiculous. Netscape has even a lower claim to innovation than MSFT, they are a true one trick pony who borrowed all of the thinking for their flagship product. This kind of nonsense is like claiming that Apple invented the GUI, another long-standing myth. In both cases the companies took a good but not well marketed technological invention and packaged it in a way that customers could use. Next you will claim that Marc was the key genius behind mosaic and so at least the innovator was at netscape, even if the invention happened somewhere else. Think again there too, or talk to some of the people who actually worked on that product. Do you want to speculate on how many of the original mosaic team contributed to IE4 as opposed to Netscape? Do you even want to know? You really ought to do a little more digging before you advance this kind of nonsense.
