Christine:

Did I say execute? I think I only said tried for murder. The two reason you gave are true, but there are others.

Have you ever sat on a jury or been involved in a trial? I have. What I've seen is many juries are swayed by emotion, how the defendant looks, etc. In my personal experience, there are some pretty stupid people on juries. Certainly not my "peers" and I doubt the "peers" of many who are accused of crimes.

All I know is I do not trust the American "justice" system at all, nor most lawyers -- especially prosecutors -- who will twist anything just to win a case. I would certainly NEVER want to be on trial for my life with politically motivated DAs doing everything they could to make me look guilty, stupid people on a jury watching how I might blow my nose or what the color my tie is today, or face a sentence that could possibly be death.
