The closing price was DM48.70, which at .5688DM to USD$1 is about $27.70 or about 18 cents below where APPL closed in the States on Friday.

I think a different exchange rate is used by arbiters.

It seems to me that the price is lower than $27.70. Frankfurt closes at mid-trading day here. That means closing price on Friday in Germany should have been the equivalent of no higher than US$28 3/4 as the stock traded below that figure all day. Now subtract 4.98% from that and we get a closing price for today of $27.32.

Alternatively, if we assume Apple closed Friday in Germany at $28 1/4 here, today's closing price would be US$26.84.
