She hoped her husband would get preferential treatment even though he was not saved because he was Jewish. Even though we got along very well she did not like that I said he would not.

My wife responded;

At least your poor evangelical skills are consistent. I give preferential treatment to any non-believing spouse and really roll out the red carpet in humility.

Who brought up the word Jewish Bob you or Nancy.
How do you know he is not saved? Do you know all his thoughts?

Also did you not Judge her husband.

Where do you think you get permission to be so judgmental anyhow?

Go find a mirror Bob.

Alan

Bob,
From the first post you made it sounded like she was interested and you slammed her down as you have my husband on this thread. You don't have to scratch hard to see how you really feel about us. I can't stand the coldness displayed here in the name of the Lord.

<<You have an unbelievable ability to see things that are not there and to assign motives that don't exist. >>

This is interesting because you have misinterpreted what I am saying for a long time. I did not assign a motive but suggest telling her there was no special treatment for her husband angered me. Paul would have given him special treatment every town he entered he went to the synagogue first and even said he would give up his relationship with the Lord to see his people saved. You are right though the Church would probably snear at him and start the negative Jewish speeches that would insure him (her husband) to not return. I know there is allot more that happened than what you shared and my only point is that you seemed to crush her interest in what you said.
I know how you feel about us and think it best we just drop communication.
Nancy
P.S. Remember there was a time I asked you to apologize and you refused.
