E*Trade & Schwab have both held the line on their commissions, and have both stated publicly that they intend to "build a premium brand", as you put it. I just believe that Schwab is succeeding, whereas E*Trade is not. E*Trade is getting squeezed from below by Suretrade & Ameritrade, and from above by Schwab. I do not see that EGRP has found a successful strategy to get out of this squeeze, as evidenced by the diminished growth rate and sideways pattern of the stock for the last 6 months. If you did some more research, you would realize that there is some legal liability with regards to this "chat room", no matter how many disclaimers they place on it. Unfortunately, we live in a litigious society, and if lawsuits can be filed for the slimmest of reasons. Still short EGRP, unless you can provide a more convincing argument to the contrary
