To all, I need some help. Tyco just offered to buy USS for $42.50. I have leaps on USS Jan35 calls. After the buyout, am I going to lose all the premium and just retain the in-the-money $7.50 ?? I paid $5 to buy the calls in the first place so the profit is only $2.50.

Or should I (or can I) convert them into Tyco's calls and retain the premiums ??

Help appreciated.

Mang

blankmind,

I was aware of the short existance of he NWX, It still displays a pattern in an area that is new.
By the way, you were the first person that found a way to chart to
chart the NWX.

What do you make of it?

Glenn

Looks like the network sector is coming back to former
highs. Wonder how much of it is CISCO?

Europe is picking up economically, and they seem like
they're adapting to the Internet. This could make
up for some of the usual slugishness of summer. Remember,
last summer was supposed to be slow, but it was really
better than expected - probably because it was at a low
during the spring.
