A view to which I, too, subscribe. Sure, they have a right to an "opinion", but it'll never in the fullest sense of the word be an informed opinion, and they should bear it in mind.

Holly: Well, I have no opinion on abortion myself, but I am curious as to why when it comes to abortion, men should have no say?
After all, it is 50% his genes, also.
but aside from that, why is it that the abortion is considered the womens choice, (her baby type of thing), but when it comes to child support....
it is his baby type of thing? ;-)
Okay, Okay..how bout this point?
The issue is really beyond mortals to decide..
But lets say that there really is a God, and everyone gets judged for their actions on Earth.
What happens if you're standing in line, waiting for that "interview of interviews",
About 4 people ahead of you, a young lady is having her "day in court",and you can just make out what God is saying.
God.."Abortion? Abortion?..If there's one thing that really pisses me off, it's abortion.
Gosh, I sure am glad I am a man.
;-)

Well now Holly, I would be more than willing to abdicate the opinionating about abortion rights, if women would for instance stop having opinions about men not asking for directions, even when they are lost. We men have an alienable right to figure out how to get where we are going without the fractious opions of women on this topic. Being lost is a uniquely male domain yet womens are often interjecting themselves with taunts like "Oh look there's a gas station coming up. Let's stop and ask how. . . " And of course it is silly notions like this that actually stopping, and delaying a few minutes, an action that will only introduce unwarranted certainty in journey of wrong turns, when there is the clearly preferable act of just stepping on the gas and going a little faster right at hand.

So if women would stop opining about clearly male domains, then maybe we men would not offer our 2&cent's about clearly women's issues.

One last parting shot at the lady ( and I use the term in its most inclusive form ) with her hand on the stick in the anthill...

With one notable alleged exception, and even taht one took a bit of divine creativity, most every conception of babies does require the willing or not participation of a male of this species. So yeah, we get a chance to sound off. And speaking of big mouths...well better not push my luck too far today.

I don't have much to say on abortion. I just happened to have run across some surprisingly early writing on it in the Didache, and I was using that to annoy Penni and Janice. Other than that, let the pagans kill all their offspring......
