You are clumsily avoiding the point:
You might have said -Maybe what we need is a new law against Monopolies temporarily giving away product with the intent to create yet another monopoly by driving competitors out of business, hence out of the market place.

Maybe we don't need to do this because we already have such laws in place, waiting to be enforced.
