Ed - A couple of corrections. Intel did not invent the CPU - They pretty much DID invent the microprocessor, and the key design team at Intel also were responsible for the fairchild planar process which makes all of these complex ICs possible. I am no fan of Intel but you can't take that away from them. GE did not invent the light bulb Actually they did, Edison founded what later became GE specifically to market the light bulb, which was Edison's invention.

Why do you keep defending Intel? I'm not attacking Intel. Microsoft does not need ot be "free to innovate" because they have no desire to innovate. Name a single innovation on Microsofts part. I'm still waiting for you to answer that question, rather than switch the topic. By the way, Netscape is not a looser, they have the dominant share of the market place. Microsoft is the looser who is crying because they are not allowed to cheat to win. Dragonfly
