Speaking of increasing Y2K awareness, ATM maker reports:

NORTH CANTON, Ohio, May 22 (Reuters) - Diebold Inc. said Friday its earnings for the second quarter, ending June 30,will probably lag behind those of the same period the year-earlier because of industry-wide banking trends, such as mega-mergers, and technological issues surrounding the year 2000.

OT...ART BELL the Larry King of late night radio,
He also interviews people that have been abducted by aliens and have had implants in their brain, interviews surgeons that have tried to remove the implants, talks with people that have lived in Bigfoot colonies, and all other types of anamolies.
He lets them ramble on without ever challenging them, adding suppositions that make their story always credible.
Caught part of the Y2K broadcast, also the song that was to the tune of Gilligans Island.
10% fact----90% fiction but always entertaining.

Dorine:

I'm familiar with Art Bell... He has a full spectrum of guests covering Twilight Zone issues... Some of the stuff like the Hole to Hell can scare the heck out of you... : >

Gary North is a survivalist type... He's been crying Wolf for many years... Unfortunately, he may be closer to the truth this time... He's been preparing for Armagedan for years...

I heard something about a Bulgarian Computer Scientist that may have stumbled across some type of anti Y2k Virus that may be the Silver Bullet for Software problems... As for Embedded Chips, TAVA holds the key...
