Re: Patents Jester, Your points are well taken. I think Dr. Shanks should be asked about this. How would they afford a legal defense? I don't know. In regard to the three issued patents, I think I will, for the time being, refer to patents.ibm.com. Here you can't get the entire patent but you can get the abstract and the main claims. I will post them in messages following. Now, after the calls for a mathematician, I think we need a patent lawyer to evaluate these in terms of breadth etc. I need to read them more closely before I post any comments. Mark N.
