The difference between tobacco and the other thrill-seeking behaviors you mention is that tobacco is a very addictive drug. If cigarette companies were openly stating the facts about this, instead of lying about it for decades, and about their deliberate campaigns to hook children, I might see more validity in your "freedom" argument. And since tobacco is much more harmful to health than marijuana, in all fairness you would have to totally decriminalize it and allow huge international companies (like tobacco companies) to sell it at candy counters.

Fair enough? I mean, freedom is freedom!!!
