Should test 22 today....Markets are weak...and techs can't sustain prices...should look for more of a downward spiral...in upcoming days...Asia, rate fears, profits, economy...all make for a jittery market...one bad move and any company is dust...Look @ SMOD and MANU...announced upcoming bad qtrs and BOOM!!...I suspect NSCP to do the same..as the short term future is bleek for this company...I suspect a full year to turnaround...if they can?

Windows 98...is a real killer for the company...as less and less people are using their browser...

Every internet stock is getting hammered today. NSCP is holding up pretty well under the circumstances. I think you are forgetting that the stock market is a discounting machine and looks out about 9 months into the future. Things will only improve now that NSCP has changed its business model. This stock doesn't trade on fundamentals anymore...can you name one search engine company that does? Regards

FRANK,

I agree with you about not purchasing before bad earnings. I waited on AMD for bad earnings and saved a couple hundred bucks watching it slide.

On the other hand, what is bad earnings, where are the earnings warnings, don't you feel if things were bad they would feel obliged to have taken the hit sooner, refer to INTL.

I'm betting that they've turned the corner. Mkts react instantaneously, but more often than not ignorantly, to news.

Witness the co that came up with the supposed cancer cure, up a ton in one day. How many people do you suppose read that the same drug that cures the disease kills the kidney's (hence the patient).

Also, I agree with you the stock is not justified on recent financials. The previous numbers suck, but change the model, change the focus, change the marketing, and you've got a whole new business.

Anyway, you might be right, my numbers/contacts suggest earnings will not disappoint.

Good luck.
