Actually we all know that it hasn't been patented since according to the following, excerpted from the March 27th q4 and 1997 year end report, the patent was pending.

"Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cymedix Lynx Corporation, the company also offers Cymedix Lynx, a secure, <<patent-pending>> medical communications product that makes use of the Internet to facilitate more cost-efficient patient care."

Had they been granted a patent, they would have trumpeted it, don't you think, Mike??

I would submit that this is a gross inaccuracy, which can't simply be attributed to a proofreading mistake, but rather is more likely an attempt to mislead readers. Either that, or this management is just plain sloppy.

Mike, how would you spin this?

By the way, is anyone else interested in knowing what was given up in exchange for these "marketing arrangements"? Or do you think my curiosity is out of line?
