I, for one, had not noticed you had left.

Good luck to you,

Paul Tran: There is no discussion on the VVUS or PFE, this board is more like a chit-chat club.

I agree with this statement, although I don't let it influence my investment decisions. Of the latest 45 posts, 19 were idle chit-chat and noise. 9 were empty comments, repetitions of what has already been mentioned here repeatedly, or just statements of the obvious. 17 (barely one-third) contained relevant content or questions. Not a good signal-to-noise ratio, folks.

Keep in mind that this thread serves as a permanent archive of VVUS trading history, fundamental developments and investor sentiment. When prospective VVUS investors come here looking for information about the stock, how much off-topic discussion of hillbillies, etc. can they be expected to tolerate before giving up? What about the serious longs who want to look up some historical information, or just get through the day's posts in a reasonable amount of time?

One of the things that makes this thread great is the sense of community and the humor of the participants who share very useful VVUS information. It would be a shame to see this forum deteriorate into something trivial and irrelevant by letting the social chatter continue to outweigh and obscure the investment discussion.
