Don't know, but for someone that might, are you referring to their land or the land next door?

RCJ -- I spoke with the IR guy and they don't own the mineral rights under the land. This is a huge point which should not be lost on investors since it means that they cannot benefit by actually drilling the oil themselves. However, if the strike is true, this is still big news b/c the company claims to be working on a deal to sell their land to those companies that due own the mineral interests underlying EDII's land. The guy I spoke to (forgot his name), said the company is working a sale of the surface estate which is "significantly" above its book value.

When I asked what he meant he said the land is booked b/w 1 and 2 million and that this is not a situation where they are thinking of selling it for 3-4 million. It sounded as though it was going to be a sale at 4-5 times the book value of the land.

Don't own EDII yet but hopes this helps. Bill
