Actually, a 300 mile radius is a reasonable distance. But, didn't PLFM say 300 mile DIAMETER??

Do a "line of sight" solution for 60,000 feet, and you'll come up with a lot more. A 400+ mile radius.

Guaranteed signal signal strength, may be the reason that the "footprint" area is so conservative.

The 11 miles you see in the first paragraph of "Stock Defective" is referring to the altitude of the aircraft. 60,000 ft. is slightly over 11 miles. I am not worried about the technology. It will eventually operate as promised. My main concern is about management experience and ability along with financing.
