>>> Here is the press release for the electronic transaction insurance and NCR's stated interest in internet banking.

I know NCR is interested and has products for internet banking (although your link is bad). But there is a big difference between internet banking and bill pay. CheckFree has many products, so your NCR reps may have incorrectly implied which product they're competing against. I'm long on CKFR, but that shouldn't make a difference, the truth is what is important.

>>>NCR was allied with and that was cheaper than Checkfree's

I wouldn't trust anyone that is willing to make such a bold statement without facts to back it up.

The Facts:

CheckFree is the leading provider of electronic commerce services, software and related products for more than 2.4 million consumers, 1,000 businesses and 850 financial institutions. CheckFree designs, develops and markets services that enable its customers to make electronic payments and collections, automate paper-based recurring financial transactions and conduct secure transactions on the Internet.
