I agree that we need more discussion of the historical perspective and the "Law of Unintended Consequences." by "people of stature".

Whom do you suggest?

On my list might be a few economists like Alan Greenspan and Milton Friedman but I can't think of a single politician that fits that status.

I think the national media ought to pick up on this story. It might be a good topic for a show like PBS's Frontline. Or how about a cover on Time or Newsweek. What Kudlow has to say is VERY relevant and significant but these thoughts might evaporate and disappear unless the story is battered repeatedly into the public consciousness.

According to the polls I've seen, the public already is overwhelmingly on the side of Microsoft on this and wishes that the government would change it's agenda.

Kudlow's comments need widespread dissemination.
