I don't think the market looks so hot...

There are some serious problems in Asia and I think it WILL affect the world. Now we throw in Russia?

I think tech stocks are dead for atleast 60 days. The next earnings report will be ugly for most and the warnings will come. I think companies like Cymer will sit right at their low for awhile and trade sideways. If any tech stock is still unaffected it will be shortly.

Internet stocks will come crashing down within 60 days. I think Yahoo will be cut in half etc..

The positive for Cymer is I feel the old low of mid-$14 will hold and we're almost there.

I don't buy the current positive move today and even though it may move up tomorrow, I don't see any positive signs that it will hold.

I'm not short any stocks right now. I own THQI and that's it for now. I'll buy Cymer, Teredyne, AOL and DELL if they sell-off nicely.

That's my $.002 worth... :-)

Aloha

Zeev: I am puzzled by the market. Especially the SFAM move. I will look for very short term gains. Selling calls seems lucrative.

Zeev, admittedly, SOX didn't rebound strong, but it also showed some resistance in the morning. If INTC gets some kind of support tomorrow, you entry point will look good - at least for a while. If it continues to struggle, the really critical test is at 69-70 level (which would roughly correspond to SOX testing 245).

On a positive side, I use TXN as a proxy/lead stock for SOX, and TXN intra-day chart looked reasonable.

Good luck,

Y.
