I am not sure there is a problem, that is why I said possible problem.
What I am suggesting, would not chamge the concept of the engine, just rotate a small component rather than the largest. From the small diagram that I saw, I am not clear on the workings of the engine.
But from the discussions it appears that others assume the block and pistons rotate and this may be a problem with rotational energy.
Thus I made my suggestion of only rotating the cam plate.( maybe this is how it is being done and the diagrams are not detailed enough for us to be able to tell).
Gives us something to discuss while the stock price is all over the place---all the best--John

I see there is a lot less activity on the thread tonight. I wonder if it has anything to do with the hit the stock took today.

There sure was a lot of activity the nights before the runup.
