Porter,as a newby option trader it comes as a bit of a shock that one must pay full brokerage fees when called away from his shares,,,is there any way to minimize this cost or am I just naive to be surprised by this extra cost?????

Turn out the lights...(the party's over)

When I got home tonight I found a couriered letter to me from legal counsel headlined Toronto Stock Exchange v. Davis. I am hereby "put on notice that if you do not stop publishing defamatory material about the exchange and about any of its representatives, legal proceedings will be brought against you in which be claimed substantial damages,...punitive damages, and legal costs on a solicitor and client basis."

They win. I quit. Sorry folks. Keep the faith. I can't say anything more, although I'm sure you can all fill in the blanks. I can't jeopardise my family's future in a fight with the TSE.

Happy trading.

Porter
