Q+ data on indices are basically trash. Don't trust the high, low and open. Dial Data is much more reliable in this area. I actually set up an automatic program to download the following page everyday at 6:30pm. quote.yahoo.com^dji+^ixic+^iqx2+^soxx+^spx+^oex&detailed=t (add other symbols as needed) You can also save similar pages for several sources on the net. (such as PCQuote, QuoteCOM) Then check these data against your database. My two cents. Hope it helps.
