Jim, you miss the point. I personally believe, given the current quarter and the estimates for this year, that Dell is priced properly in the mid to high 80's. Another way to say that, given it's current valuation, is it's properly priced at that point. Based on how Dell performs relative to expectations it may be valued higher or lower by the street. Valuation is only tangentially related to how it's priced in any session. I'll go one step further to say valuation is more of a result of fundamental analysis of the stock. Overbought/oversold is derived from the technical analysis of the stock. I am not saying that, by definition, I am right. TA folks may also take issue with my assessment. Hey, in the final analysis it's really all just FM, fair enough?
Walt

Jimleon, what value do you place on Dell's stock and how do you determine this value? I seem to be having a hard time in understanding why Dell can trade at these levels.

Thanks for the information.

So if dell goes from 85 to 105 by next Friday, then all of you will say dell was oversold at 86?

Aha! The charts are never wrong. See, Jim that signals a breakout which is bullish (why do I have to explain TA to you -- you ask such stupid questions!). Any made up situation you care to show me can be explained with the jargon of the TAer -- it is never wrong. It reminds me of the Flanders and Swann song called The Wampum Song. One of the refrains went something like:

Oh, there is nothing that a wampum cannot do ...

[This was a good song, but not as good as The Reluctant Cannibal

I won't let another man pass my lips

Seriously, the TAers have a rationalization for everything. So the emperor is definitely a nudist.

TTFN,
CTC

I am too busy making money to take up your challenge. I am in DELL now. It's cheap!
