I don't have a "value" that dell should be at, I see a stock
ultimately moving in the direction of its eps growth.
The market is valuing dell at 86 a share now, with fundamental
ratios being computed at 86. If over the next say 2 years, dell
keeps growing at say 40%, the market will bid up the stock
to reflect ratios, etc, that reflect its value as a company
making more money.

If dell comes out with an earnings
warning tomorrow, the stock will tumble, no matter what the
chart says. I have not seen a single stock anywhere not follow the
fundamentals of its company over an extended period of time.
Have you?

It can definitely go in the wrong direction of the fundies
over short periods of time.

I really think people
make the stock market more complicated that it really is.
It is clear to me and everyone why MSFT, CSCO, DELL have
made people fortunes. Just look at the historical eps of the companies.
