Agreed - I believe that anyone selling, or shorting, the P dividend has sold something that does not yet exist (until registration). Even then the dividend P that people are selling yesterday, today, and tomorrow, sold a P with a different conversion date than the P that is presently being traded and should not have sold "unregistered shares". They will most likely have to cover their sales, or shorts.

ROFLMAO - Just got off the phone (for the 3rd time today) with Web St. Securities. I had them checking into the P's dividend issue (again), specifically when would I be free to sell the P's without losing the dividend (not that I intend to mind you). Are you ready for this - they checked with US Clearing Corp and were told that US Clearing was advised that the dividend was on the COMMONS not the P's. "No friggin' way", I told them and gave them the TA's name and number. Talk about a zoo, none of these outfits knows which end is up. Is it any wonder the prices are all over the place. IMO, MIDL needs to issue another release soonest restating the facts for the benefit of the brokerage houses - and this time use a service which all the houses will see. Neither of mine got the 5/18 release. Steve

Some poster who is spreading misinformation or from a reliable source at Arcon? I'm confused. You've stated about a zillion times that P holders of record COB tommorrow would get the div which converts Oct 99 but that the P would convert Oct 98. Is this still correct information? Hats off to you Gary you said a mouth full. Most don't read at all they skim and JMO, and it don't carry no weight here but, ANYONE selling any of it is taking a chance; fueled by greed. To sell the "P" or even try to is insane! You can not sell "FREEBIE" yet. Or that was my take on it. If you sell, it is no longer in your account and the way I see it; no freebies shares. Well ya all can do what you want but I am not greedy or anxious so I will wait the bucks will flow in due time. Dusty :o)
