Perhaps Intel should adopt 3D-NOW...would it help a pentium II?

As we all know, Intel needs others to create new processor architectures for them to implement these innovations into their designs. Thus, Intel did announce their MMX2 after AMD, Cyrix and IDT disclose their own new MMX instructions. Chances are that 3DNow! are integrated into MMX2 without announcements.

For this reason, it is very stupid to buy any PII now since PII has the outdated and useless MMX1 and would become junk immediately after Intel releases MMX2.
