When (if?) the Vice President becomes President, I wonder if the antitrust actions against big tech companies will continue. Gore is a techo-nerd, and would not be inclined to hobble technological progress. On the other hand, he may have decided that the Wintel monopoly is hobbling progress. Hard to know what he thinks, as he is not free to speak his mind, and speaks cryptically most of the time anyway. I doubt the antitrust issues will be resolved during the current administration.
