Why have they done nothing about it? For 18 months? Please show me the report where the pentagon said this. All I have is right wing wackos saying the pentagon said it. Furthermore, what motive would Loral have in upgrading chinese missle technology?

You seem to be ignoring these difficult questions.

Bill,
The way I see it, is that its hard to tell what the Pentagon has said and in what context. There is no source that I know of where we can get straight Pentagon responses, all we ever see is interpretations / summaries by the news media. The Pentagon is not a single person either, one person may say one thing and another may say the opposite. One Pentagon official may think that confirming a bad solder connection aided China in a very small way thus harming US security and another official may conclude that this does not give China any information they don't already have. For example, if your were to spit in the ocean one scientist may say that it does not raise the ocean level by any measurable amount and another may say that measurable or not it did raise the ocean level. I would like to see the report so I can judge for myself.

In my book, the Pentagon has not given a response consistent with Loral harming US security.
