John, thanks for the heads up. I don't spend much time on the WSJ I'm a net surfer. If you subscribe to WSJ interactive could you tell me if articles from 1989 are accessible I'm interested in reading an op-ed piece(10/27/89) by former Fed governor Heller where he suggests the Fed intervene via the futures mkt to prop up the mkt during a severe decline. John, Ir read the Urinal from time to time, though you can most of it for free on line. Mike does, too, as his note above will prove. Neither of us believe the eps estimates for this quarter. Look how wrong their projections were for last quarter. But, since the eps are phony to the tune of nearly 12% right now, due to recurring, non-recurring writeoffs, and who knows how fictional because of phony options accounting, anything is possible in the Never-Never Land of corporate accounting. <G>
