Back when I first started learning about stocks and the market, one of the books I read said, in effect, never buy a stock with a P/E greater than 10. I am not sure there are any of them, certainly not growing. This book also quoted Wilder extensively.

Keep in mind, there's a difference of stretching the rules and bending them. These "new rules" are being used to justify the bull market and that it will go on forever...which we all known is not the case.
