I've been watching the three near-term series on ABX as well. I see the curiously high volumes but can't tell if today's call volume represents mostly opening positions, mostly closing positions, or a wash combination because the open interest has hardly budged since yesterday. Also, if these are mostly opening postions, I can't tell whether they're opening sells or opening buys. Can you? Do we have to wait a day until the open interest is updated with today's volume to get a truer o/i picture?
