Ken,

I get my data from Canada Stockwatch. I pay for the service, and I need Canadian data. It is provided only in ASCII, but when I try to import in ASCII, the infrequently traded companies where the second date imported is 7 or more days after the first is interpreted as a weekly traded company and is not accepted by WoW. I've contacted them about this problem but they have yet to fix it. I want the data from these companies and don't want to spend all my time deleting them so my only alternative is to use the Equis metastock converter. It converts all the data, even all the files, but after the 255th file, they show up in my directory as .mwd, instead of .dat, and WoW will not recognize them, even though if I look at these files through the open file option in the Equis downloader they appear properly formatted just like the first 255 files.
