VECO dropped from almost 40 to 27.5, I would say that was quite a drop. CYMI from 30 to the mid 15's, almost a 50% drop. AMAT, well only about 20%+. In any even much more than INTC 85 to 74 drop, or even MU 32 to 24.

In any event, if the semi do not join the party, it is time to get out when the getting out is still good.

Even in the tech sector, liquidity rules in this market. No one wants to invest in any stock that has a market cap less than most South American countries net worth. (Personally I still think those index funds have something to do with this.) But regardless, the average person has never heard of MEMC. They know about Intel or Microsoft.

Perhaps MEMC should start to run some commercials. MEMC INSIDE. or something like that. Hey, it could work. If you told me 5 years ago that there would be a bunch of people dancing around in anti static suits advertising chips on TV I would have thought you were crazy.
