They received a marketing award for their glossy brochures from the LOCAL marketing association in Austin. The company highlighted these brochures in the last report and now a local club gives them a prize. Never have I seen so much energy devoted to pumping a brochure and it should come as no surprise that the Pump was touting these brochures from the beginning.

BTW, even casual observers were aware that the standard Internet protocols introduced last year for time-sensitive voice and video would quickly become commercialized as the Ciscos and Lucents of the world incorporated these standards into new and existing products. This has been one of the Pump's core foci but RACE has recently had to admit to the technology's success. Still the deny that this is the way to provide simultaneous voice and data choosing to stick with ancient multiplexing schemes and antiquated modems. techweb.com
