Rick--I had the same gut feeling as you about the revenues after seeing the earnings report for the 3rd quarter. But, I think that Tava will benefit as panic sets in on the y2k problem---In one of Cheryls research reports, she talked about expiration dates that have to be stamped on food products, as one of the first possible equipment failures. It may take something like this to hit home to investors--if that does happen, I don't believe the revenue issue will matter as much as speculation that Tava has one of the few tools that can address the problem--also, CD sales may take off. Thanks for the contributions you've made, hope you'll stick around for this story to unfold. Jan

Rick,

I respect your contributions to the thread. Could you elaborate on why you feel Tava will have $100 million in revenue? How unique do you feel Tava's database of 15,000 unique items is? In your analysis, how much of a value are you placing on the database?

Chris

>>>IMHO, TAVA is a great company with a very promising future, but
I think the expectations bar has been set too high, and any surprises will be on the downside, not the upside, so I can't feel warm and fuzzy with a long position anymore. There will be money to be made in "tween-Q" fluctuations, though, on good news and bad news. Bummer.

Rick:

Sorry to see you go... You've made some good intelligent contributions to this thread... With that said, I think you are probably selling near the bottom of TAVA's recent trading range... The 9.00 to 11.00 price range is probably the last great buying oppty before some major announcements vault the stock price higher... Investor psychology sometimes runs counter to price movements... Just when you can't take the price volatility anymore, the price moves up... This pattern is supported by many years of Market empirical evidence... I hope you reconsider, or at least continue to comment on this thread...
