According to ALDNF's own adds in Byte Magazine which show a table comparison by an independent firm, ALDNF's products are the best in all benchmarked categories. Check any issue of Byte, it's in there.

I don't have ANY experience with dongles.

Last time I looked market share (based on revenue) was 50:40:10 (with the small players holding about 10%). There are dozens of other small players - look in any Byte magazine to see them advertising. None of them are significant.

Re dongle technology: I think dongles have reached perfection in terms of functionality and size. Last time NTSL did a test, Aladdin came out best, partly because of supposedly superior software. Newest things are Universal Serial Port dongles and PCMCIA protection devices.
