Under the category "It takes one to know one" i.e. Clinton:

My belief and hope is that when Clinton does go to India (with Moynihan) he will see that the right thing is to try to befriend India.

He will then toughen up on the Chinese and vastly improved Indian/American relations will signal the real New World Order.

I think our peoples have a natural affinity based on ethics and humanity - combining that with economic strength (USA)and innate brilliance (Bharat), adding a dash of spirituality, will be very powerful.

The Chinese will shrink away and the Pakistanis will clamor to join the Union.

And I'm not kidding. Go ahead, call me cynical.

Peter
