Joe, in your opinion, why was the offer by TEDennis to independently review the Y2K software rejected by Rhonda? #reply-4326134

Is it possible that in the two years since, Mr. Clifford, who is involved in the computer industry has moved on to other things and that whatever his involvement in the website is old news.

In a word: NO. At the bottom of the home page it says that the site was created by, and is maintained by FX-Internet Design. And Dave is still listed as Webmaster, and still has his pic on the site. Very bad maintenence indeed if it's all from two years ago. Momentum wouldn't be happy at all.

Don't yell at me, please: but do you actually THINK for a minute before you write this stuff?

We'll all be able to judge his assessment very soon. And before you all jump down my throat, it may not be at the crack of dawn on the first of June. Having said that, I have now come to the realization, as others did sooner than me that this is a no win situation with the SI gang. IMHO

Hmmmm. Let us take this together with what birish has said about the information he got from the PR firm: "a couple of weeks I think". So. I guess we needn't be in a hurry to boot up on Monday. Sure, the company's been promising a "beta version" since April, stated categorically that the "new" Zitec website would be up by 20 May, and stated equally categorically that the software would be available for sale on the Web "on or before June 1".

Looks as if it isn't gonna happen. Not my words: yours. But of course in some obscure way, this is OUR fault, not Cashco's. HEAVENS NO!!!
