I believe that it is mostly slime ball reporting from the type of reporter that chased Lady Di to her death , or else self serving shorters trying to push the stock down. For this rediculously low incidence of death for the type of patient profile we have gone way past the point of talking it to death.
Even Israel by stopping or delaying sales is probably doing it for political reasons ,not health reasons. ie since you don't use one of our local drug companies for distribution we will make it a little more difficult for you to get this product going. Most of these so called approval boards delay approval of these new (expensive) drugs
for budgetary reasons and for the pork barrel jobs that the local equivalent of the FDA serves.Any side effect that they are testing for has usually already been documented by the original research.IMHO

As has been posted previously by others and myself, if there are any concerns that there are known significant safety issues with Viagra, other than what has been included in the Viagra label, the FDA and PFE would have pulled Viagra off the market by now. The known deaths have been reviewed by PFE, and the label was not even changed. Therefore, once can confidently conclude that the deaths reported to date were not directly related to the use of Viagra, or they were related to something already included in the Viagra label.

<<I hear that 2 Brasillian guys have died
after taking Viagra. There could be
more to this death thing than we know,
and the market is starting to reflect
this uncertainty.>>

You may be right, but considering the fact that the so-called black market for Viagra is rampant in these countries, who can really definitively say what the cause of death is likely to be. Anyone idiotic enough to buy a prescription drug on the street is not playing with a full deck. These countries (including CANADA) should get off their collective butts and approve Viagra.

PFE is a responsible company that has everything to lose if they treat these deaths as trivial. I certainly think that the comments by PFE were not made without some serious investigative work on their part and conversations with the FDA. The W. Post article basically states that the FDA still feels the drug to be extremely safe. Remember 6 deaths out of 1 million in this age group is expected, and unusually LOW.

Good Luck.

John:

When you make those kinds of claims.i.e. "I heard..."
You should report where you heard that information
otherwise it has the ring of bs.
