To long time readers of this thread, the news today from Intel is not new. Rob Young who used to post a lot on this thread forecast the true merced schedule many times. But I voted for the merger today and also received 2 calls from a representative of the Board of Directors making sure I voted (in favor). But I do agree that CPQ got a great deal so we will now own it and I also bought year 2000 calls believing CPQ stock prize will reflect the value they are receiving on this deal. I guess it is a way to recoup the money we should have made with a higher purchase price for DEC. Rich
