Hi Steve .. I think, years ago, I lived in a place in Freeport with no AC.

Don't think that I could do that today.

Had a lot of fun tip toeing through the paddies looking for those funny mushrooms :o) tea anyone? Texas cattle can produce such wonderful side products..

INTC ..

I mentioned it before, then dropped the subject .. If they follow the same pattern as the last time then I would expect a sudden burst of puts that materialize. This would be the level that would be for the support line. There may be two or 3 layers of puts laid out as a safety net. When these show up they will probably be priced below what the Black Sholes (however you spell it) method would say they should be priced. I think that the stock price will hit the safety net level, bounce and then return to try the support again. Could be good for a quick scalp.

Whatcha think?

Gersh

Hi Steve:

Paris, Texas - just in case you missed the pun - is a film . Try to go and see it. Im just afraid you will not have a chance to do that in Houston.

"After all, I am where you read me, n'est-ce pas?"

The more we learn to know from different cultures around the world, the more do we diminuish our chance to find a place where we feel "at home". Of course, it's not the place but the persons around us.

Sometime, when I'm involved in hot discussions about this or that I think about a simple idea:
When these people HERE would have learned just that, what people elsewhere know to do "better", and people elsewhere just came, saw and learned what people here are doing better... would I still have stuff to discuss?

There's a lot of good ideas, good intentions, good solutions, good products, good arts, architecture and so on to find around the world - it was that simple to stick around and just to copy the best of them.

Not at least, the best of the different ways people are handling with, acting on, talking to each other.

Steve, the oldest of our ancients (Adam) got a small problem the day when he took his first apple.

Guten Appetit!

BAMBI UPDATE & TA FUN

Steve, I hope you find happiness where you put your head on the
pillow. (or find a new pillow).

We had a short-term record 5 DJIA stocks declare weekly bearish
signals last week. BAMBI is sitting at a clearly negative 23 to 7
bearish. But, 14 of the DJIA stocks still beat the Index and this is
not negative. The market still favors the big boys.

Have read a couple of TA books over the last month and been having fun
drawing little lines on charts. As I see it there are many ways
besides the dart board) to determine the best entry point for a stock.
Included are: support, retracement (38/50/62), weekly (L/T) channel,
and daily (S/T channel). For purposes of discussion, let me put forth
what I see.

Steve, re your existential horror, hit me very much between the eyes (or the ears g) but here's some points, not necessarily soothing, but still.

1. Houston may be a different place but what I saw in some TX places (Austin, San Antonio) is not herds of cows, its just those forbidding, tainted-glass buildings for miles ("where the future is being made today") and lanes and lanes of moving or standing traffic. So, let's not kid ourselves. We helped it come about. Jesus, it just hurts I know, if you look back on Quartier Latin.

2. As Juri (or whoever) mentioned already, the first ever human, name Adam, had the same problem, of eating of the tree of knowledge. You remember what he did first? He covered his balls - the bible says "his nakedness" but a careless reader sure misses the point - namely that Adam suddenly understood that his own creator, who gave him brain, but mercifully spared him knowledge, can now really kick his balls. The tree of knowledge... And nothing seems to be the same since.

3. Freedom means having nothing to lose (hey, Im as helpless as anybody else... Fade Neil Young in at this point),

4. Stick around - what else do we have left?

Still melancholic/philosophic DJ
