Jim notes:

"There's one other issue. Even if a MOT were to acquire TFS in a friendly" fashion, the acquisition puts at risk any of the customer base who are in competition with MOT, or who feel that their best interests are not served through a captive supplier. It's a sure way to create a customer exodus and compromise the viability of the business. Talk about being susceptible to the fortunes of a single customer!! That's one way to pedal back into exactly that situation!

Jim......The vulnerability to MOT decisions, or dithering on a grand scale, is material. First, it has occluded visibility and consistency of TFS' earnings. Second, it introduces risk and requires greater liquidity than necessary for a company of TFS' size.....Nothing wrong with the latter, except that the younger guys may not recognize the necessity for cash on the balance sheet. If they decide to try to squeeze through the next year without an equity (or convertible debt) offering, the risk from the MOT customer relationship will increase exponentially as the cash reserve is depleted. They could really get into a box.

Right now, all I have is a company that tells me it is only going to grow revenue 15% this year, and is sorry it said different, earlier.

Hell of a shame. <G>

Please folks. It takes precious time to read these posts. Could we maybe stick a little more to the subject at hand and skip the personal repartee? I know it'll make the thread a little more drab, but given its function as a more-or-less public forum, it would be a mercy for me overall and maybe for others as well. Image the challenge to a newcomer of wading through the thread for the more germane stuff. Your call, though. Many of you have been here longer than I have, and each thread seem to have its own personality. JimA
