Coop, what you've said is the way I understand it so far.
Did you see the other Global news releases:

stockfind.lycos.com I've found that the Lycos news search brings back more than Yahoo. (I searched on 'biofarm').
stockfind.lycos.com One other note: if I recall correctly, on that CNBC (audio) interview, Bell was asked if RMGG would need to borrow money for expansion, and Bell said that Litchfield/Global? would finance RMGG for a year.

I have a paper copy of the RMGG news release from April 8, 1998, that was on their web site before the current one (May 7). It talks about the financing. I'll key it in next post.

Vicki

Here is the news release that was on RMGG's web site before the current one of May 7 (keyed in from paper copy). Maybe Annette can give us other past news releases?

More notes:

According to Global's March 18 news release, "Litchfield, a British Virgin Islands entity located in London, is a diversified holding company with holdings in chemical, real property, maritime, mining, research and development and financial management companies."

It mentions in the same news release that Global intends to become listed on the NASDAQ NMS. (What is 'NMS'?)
