This post from MF/AOL, reposted by request of EFree: "While watching the 11P.M. news last night there was a piece about the WAND. The piece was on Channel 4 which in N.Y.C. is NBC ( I believe this was a local broadcast.) The piece was delivered by Dr. Ian Smith. He said now novacaine can be delivered painlessly by using a computerized instrument called " the Wand". "They showed a tradional syringe and the WAND. Both devices were shown together and the syringe really looked sinister when compared to the WAND. A patient was interviewed before and after the Wand shot. "Dr. Harvey Passes , the dentist who gave the WAND shot described how the Wand , which is computerized, registers pressure and hence does not act like a syringe. The syringe not measuring the flow rate causes the novacaine to flood the tissue , thus causing pain. Besides adding a small amont of numbness to the tooth worked on, the patient did not leave the office with any feeling of numbness, nor did his lip or tongue feel any numbness. Dr. Passes said people who work as teachers, salespersons or even broadcasters can immediately go back to work. The only negative was that the procedure adds about 2 minutes to the entire time in the chair.. He was very positive about the WAND as this was the only downside. At the end of the piece they asked the patient, who was an obviously nervous young man his reaction. His reponse was " No pain- No gain" -- this doesn't exist here. They further mentioned that the WAND was FDA approved . Dr, Passses added that the WAND was growing in popularity. I was watching the Bulls - Pacers basketball game and never would have known about this piece, except during the game the network ran two " teaser commercials " for the news broadcast, after the game. Both teasers were about the WAND and the new device which limits pain in the dentist chair. Needlees to say before and during the piece the two broadcasters were excited about the prospect of going to the dentist and experiencing no pain and commented to this effect. The piece ran in N.Y.C. at @ 11:15PM est.

What the company was trying to achieve by moving to the Amex was better control over the short position, namely, better surveillance and enforcement. I don't think that selling shares in the open market was a large part of anyone's strategy. I am of the opinion that the real exit strategy will be to ultimately sell the company to a larger more diverse entity. This would only be feasible after achieving better than average market penetration in dental and at least developing one non-dental application as well. I personally am more comforted by the balance sheet's ample supply of cash. steve
