Richard, thanks for all your postings on Mpact and related e-commerece articles-they reinforced my thoughts about the future of e-commerece. I just joined SI and the 1st post had to be on Mpact thread! Only 6mo on the net but been following Mpact for 3yrs.
Thanks again, it must have lonely being the only poster for so long.

I must admit a few 4 letter words were uttered when I read the 1st Globe article, that a possible take over is in the works- short term gain. I want to ride this one for the next 4yrs. Mpact has the Management and the goods and is poised for fantastic growth(even more than what management are predicting)
Sat Montreal gazette identified 11 groups for the $13million private placement,BCE still #1 choice, and Yorkton seems bitter about the recent run-up.
Mpact stated a major 'transaction', to me is similar to compact's Club-Web, not as per the media's senario. One thought comes to mind is Dell; if I remember correctly Mpact's EDI is being used on the business side. What about Buyway for the Consumer/Net side for DELL? Now that would be big. Prior post inicated it isn't MSFT (for now), what do you think about Mpact for MSFT's Money, similar to Checkfree with Intuit. Another one that seems to have fadded recently is the association with Mondex.
A 'small' stake by a major corp would give Mpact a credibility boost-although I'm not sure they need it.
Nasdaq should be next, they have doubled the market cap they wanted prior to listing. Then a (US) acquisition
