Morning Laz and all,

Regarding your posts yesterday in response to the concerns of a certain Mr. Denton, I tell ya, you got a way with the words. I'm going have to brush up on my literary skills to be able to keep my position in the engine room. I was going to PM you on this, but decided to 'go live' instead....

I agree, denton's concerns do reflect the question of trust and even the motives of Byron, macker, Rocketman, and a dozen others who contribute so much to this and our sister threads. Like you, I tend to go by the consistency of those we choose to place our trust in. I don't know these folks personally, as in face to face, but I think I could accurately describe their philosophy of live based on their generosity to all of us. So often, on other threads, I have seen seemingly reasonable people do a complete turnaround from the initial impression they left. And you know what, the initial impression was just a mask. Their more true self came out and in more cases than not, left what had been a comfortable informative thread in a shambles. It's a shame too. So far, that hasn't happened on dgiv, icvi, or infe and I don't think it will. Byron's enthusiasm, macker's patience, Rocketman's willingness to move to the bridge and take point and lead the defenses, Mr. D's solidifying influence, and ALL the others who give so ably and willingly to this community have maintained that consistency - and that's where the trust comes from.
It isn't just there, it builds over time.

We have created our cybercommunity based on excitement, a willingness to believe, a vast amount of information, and this certain trust in the integrity of many. We all know there's going to be the hypers, the naysayers, the shills, the mm plants, ad naseum, but so far, we as a collective group haven't allowed them to take charge. I think our motto should be 'DON'T SELL until you see the whites of their eyes' (well.. maybe not all that <g>.

No one except Jimmy Chin knows for sure when dgiv news will be released. I'm OK with that and I think most are. Those, like denton, who must be living under an extreme amount of life pressure, can't or aren't willing to relax and go with the flow - to join in the fun. Not everyone will. Why? Because afterall we're dealing with that ages old temptress, money. In truth, it doesn't sound like denton should be in the stock market, at least not the BB end of it. Nice safe mutual funds might be a better place. But, it's his choice to be in it or not.

I personally find all this repartee great fun, even when I don't jump right in the middle of it - not my style. Sure, I'm concerned about how long it will take dgiv to get whereever it's going. But the fundamentals of the company haven't changed except in positive ways. A little dip here, a little dip there, a bunch of little dips everywhere....hold it, I'm off track. Can't even keep serious long enough to get all this out.

I can't think of anything more exciting than to be on the ground floor of a cutting edge industry and being invested in a company with virtually unlimited potential. There's going to be ups and downs in the price, so what!! Look at the big blue chippers, their movements some days are enough to give you ulcers. It has become imminently clear to me in the last few weeks that as a group we have managed to garner far more influence over the market reaction to this stock than any one of us individually could ever hope to.

I sincerely hope all our goals remain as one and that our patience with each other grows as we move on this journey that each of us has decided to parttake in (of our own free will, I might add). To those who can't stand it, I suggest, for your own sanity, just stay in the background or go away. DGIV is gonna do what it's gonna do when it's gonna do it. I for one will help it anyway I can.

Have a great rest of the weekend.
Chuck (wondering where all that came from as he goes to check out the ships systems)
